Wilson Pierre, lives, teaches, and performs by his motto "Let the music Speak". From Haiti to America, Wilson's musical journey speaks for itself as bold, passionate, and inspiring. At fourteen, his humble beginnings in church led to stages across the world performing with many Haitian compas bands and jazz/classical ensembles. His love and curiosity for jazz and classical grew immensely early on in his career, which motivated him to obtain his Associates degree in Music Education from Miami-Dade College. Most
recently he graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music
in Music Performance & Professional Music Studies.
Wilson Pierre's music can be identified as passionate, vivid, and
humbling. His first single release "Gratitude" tells a story of its own;
serving as the theme for his upcoming album. His music versatility and
harmonious arrangements brings along a vibrant and captivating feeling
to his listeners ears. His musical expression is felt and seen through his playing
and performances; always leaving a strong connection with his audience. From the stage to the classroom, and founder of Wilson MusicPerfection, Wilson teaches guitar full time. Through his own music education platform, Wilson has created his own personalized curriculum, customizable to individual students’ goals and needs. This platform offers virtual guitar classes, seminars, and other music services.
Wilson remained a musician of many abilities, also as a gifted conductor of several church choirs. As he grew in experience, he later integrated the world of pop music. Joining his first band, 'Fasil' playing Haiti’s most popular rhythm, Kompa. Fasil contributed to his popularity as he began performing in many different countries. A few years later, Wilson moved to Miami, playing in many Kompa bands overtime such as Suav Music, Disip, 5Etwal, legendary bands as Nu Look and most recently Zenglen. Aside from the compas music world, Wilson is a performer of all occasions and styles. And enjoys playing with various combo jazz format like Ambiance Creole Jazz band, college ensembles, and jazz festivals.
Three important things in Wilsons’s life are God, music, and his love for others. Wilson works tirelessly in making his dreams a reality, spreading positivity all around him through music. Following the works and studies of his many music idols, he is continuously cultivating and innovating himself as a musician.
